I work at Wuhan University, interested in monitoring vegetation dynamics with Earth observation data and understanding Earth system processes. I did my PhD at University of Copenhagen and earned the Faculty PhD prize in 2017. I got the EU Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellowship hosted by Lund University to continue research on African semi-arid ecosystems, based on which I had two field trips to Senegal and Zambia. After joining Wuhan University, I extend my research to global mountains and current I am establishing a field site at Nyingchi (Linzhi) in southeastern Tibet Pleatau.
